In philosophical terms we would say that the move from the Bible to the articulation of a Christian worldview is an abstraction from the biblical story. In other words, we establish a worldview by drawing out or abstracting the key building blocks or beliefs in the biblical story and showing how they fit together to constitute a worldview.
